SUMMARY:GSES Utility Scale Solar Short Course
DESCRIPTION:The GSES Utility Scale Solar online course is a comprehensive i
ntroduction for those with Grid-Connected PV experience wishing to expand
their knowledge into large scale systems. The course is meant to provide a
n industry perspective of all aspects of a utility scale solar process fro
m feasibility studies to commissioning to end of life considerations.\nCou
rse Content:&nbsp\;This interactive online course provides a structured ap
proach to understanding the step by step considerations of a utility scale
PV project. Upon completions of the course\, the engineers will be able t
o:\n Design the main steps involved in the process of establishing a solar
project\; Understand and be able to explain why the utility scale solar p
roject might be an attractive project\; Identify various stakeholders that
may be involved in the process and their varied interests\; Understand th
e technology involved in a utility scale project\, such as central inverte

id for 12 months.\nAssumed Knowledge:&nbsp\;It is assumed that students ha
ve existing skills at Grid-Connected PV System design\, but not necessaril
y at the utility scale level. They may have completed the Grid-Connected P
V System Design or Install course\, hold a Clean Energy Council Grid-Conne
ct accreditation or have applicable industry experience in rooftop PV syst
ems.\nOutcome of Successful Completion: Students will receive a GSES certi
ficate of completion stating they have completed the Utility Scale Solar c
ourse.&nbsp\;Upon completion\, CEC (Clean Energy Council) accredited desig
ners/installers will be eligible for 30 CPD points.\nCancellations and Ref
unds:&nbsp\;A full refund is available within 14 days of purchase\, on the
