DESCRIPTION:The GSES Solar Power System Fundamentals online short course is
 &nbsp\;a comprehensive introduction to grid-connect solar photovoltaic (PV
 ) electric systems for homeowners\, trades people and anyone wishing to ga
 in a sound fundamental understanding of PV systems. This course provides a
  structured approach to studying the essentials of solar PV systems.\nThe 
 course is presented in&nbsp\;topics starting with how solar systems work\,
  progressing on to the design\, costs and installation of a solar system\,
  and finally discussing post-installation safety\, operation and maintenan
 ce.&nbsp\;This course also provides information on grid-connected PV syste
 ms using battery storage\, in response to market interest in the use of st
 orage for solar PV systems.\nDelivery Mode:&nbsp\;Delivery is online compr
 ising theory\, and short quizzes&nbsp\;at the end of each topic.\nDuration
 :&nbsp\;This online course is self-paced.&nbsp\;We estimate it may take ap
 proximately 20 hours to complete\, however this can vary. Course access is
  valid for 12 months.\nAssumed Knowledge:&nbsp\;There is no assumed knowle
 dge for this course.\nRequired Materials:&nbsp\;A computer\, laptop\, tabl
 et\, or phone with reliable internet access.\nOutcome of Successful Comple
 tion:&nbsp\;Students will receive a GSES certificate of completion stating
  they have completed the Solar Power System Fundamentals course. Upon comp
 letion\, CEC (Clean Energy Council) accredited designers/installers will b
 e eligible for 30 CPD points.\nCancellations and Refunds:&nbsp\;A full ref
 und is available within 14 days of purchase\, on the condition that the st
 udent/s have not yet logged into the student portal. Due to the online nat
 ure of the course\, no refunds are possible once the course has been acces
 sed on the student portal.
